These Terms of Service explain the rules for using LinkNesta, a neighborhood
book-sharing app. By creating an account or using LinkNesta, you agree to these
terms and to our Privacy Policy.
The short version: be honest about the books you list,
treat neighbors respectfully, return borrowed books on time, and do not use
LinkNesta for spam, harassment, illegal activity, or unsafe meetups.
1. Who can use LinkNesta
You must be at least 13 years old to use LinkNesta.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
You may not impersonate someone else or create accounts to evade blocks,
reports, limits, or moderation.
2. Your content and listings
You are responsible for the book listings, messages, reviews, club posts,
photos, and other content you create.
Only list books you own or are authorized to lend.
Do not upload content that is illegal, misleading, hateful, harassing,
sexually explicit, exploitative, or infringes someone else's rights.
You keep ownership of your content, but you give LinkNesta permission to
host, display, and process it so the app can work.
3. Borrowing, lending, and meetups
Borrow and lend at your own discretion. LinkNesta helps neighbors coordinate,
but it does not guarantee book condition, availability, return, or user behavior.
Agree on pickup and return details in the borrow-scoped chat.
Use common sense for meetups: choose safe public places when possible and do
not share more personal information than needed.
Return books on time and in substantially the same condition unless you and
the lender agree otherwise.
4. Community safety
You may block users, report concerns, and remove friendships in the app.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or delete accounts
when needed to protect the community or comply with law.
Do not use LinkNesta to threaten, stalk, harass, discriminate against, defraud,
or spam other users.
5. Clubs
Club founders and admins are responsible for managing their club respectfully
and fairly.
Club content must follow the same community rules as the rest of LinkNesta.
We may moderate or remove clubs that are inactive, abusive, misleading, or unsafe.
6. Service availability
LinkNesta is provided as-is and may change over time. We may update, pause, or
remove features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance,
provider outages, or bugs.
7. No warranties and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, LinkNesta provides the service without
warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, or punitive damages, or for disputes between users about books,
meetups, messages, or returns.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account in the app from Profile → Delete account. We may
also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for
other users.
9. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the effective date
and notify you in the app before the changes take effect when practical.
